March 8 CMC BC Gala Features Three Great Young Canadian Artists

Timothy Chooi Pianist Avan Yu & Violinist Timothy Chooi are two of the most internationally-celebrated young soloists BC has produced in a generation! Winner of the 2010 Montreal Symphony Competition, Timothy Chooi grew up in Victoria and received the Sylva Gelber Award in 2015 and was recently awarded the 1717 Windsor-Weinstein Stradivarius on loan from the Canada Council.
