CMC BC is pleased to be a supporting sponsor of upcoming performances by Ariel Barnes and the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra (OSO) under the baton of their dynamic Music Director, Rosemary Thomson, of two Canadian cello concertos written especially for Ariel — Jocelyn Morlock‘s Lucid Dreams and Marcus Goddard‘s Cello Concerto.

Performances take place in Kelowna on Friday, May 12 at 7:30 pm (Kelowna Community Theatre), in Penticton on Saturday, May 13 at 7:30 pm (Cleland Community Theatre), and in Vernon on Sunday May 14 at 7pm (Vernon & District Performing Arts Centre).
Drawing inspiration from their surroundings, Scandinavian and Canadian composers bring a breathless sense of grandeur and space to this program. And the OSO Chorus joins in to honour Imant Raminsh in his 80th year as they close out the 2022-2023 season with his uplifting Gloria!
